First litter from Umrah v’t Guitpad is born on 12-3-2012. Father : Hurricane v.d Schagerwaard.

On 12-3-2012 our Groenendael female Umrah v’t Guitpad gave birth to her first litter. In this Y-litter 3 Males and 2 Females were born. She was mated to the German Groenendael Hurricane v.d .Schagerwaard. Both dog are excellent in type and character and therefore we expect a very good next generation from this promising combination. Unfortunately one of the male pups did not survive the first night and so there are 2 males and 2 females left in this Y-Litter.

Jamash v’t Guitpad has been successful again in Kroatia

Like last year Jamash v’t Guitpad has been on the dog show in Zagreb in Kroatia again , where he was very successful as a 4 month old pup. This year he won in the class till 18 month and even became best Tervueren male over 2 days.

V1, CAC, ... es wurde KEIN CACIB vergeben. Der Richter begründete öffentlich, dass Jamash der beste Rüde sei, aber dass sein Haarkleid für ein CACIB in dem Alter noch nicht fertig entwickelt ist. Somit hat auch keiner der anderen Rüden ein CACIB erhalten.

Hurricane v.d. Schagerwaard. Both dog are excellent in type and character and therefore we expect very good offspring from this promising combination.Tervuerenpups also can be expected .

Jamash v't Guitpad

On 16-10-2011 Jamash v’t Guitpad had his first Racing Start and he was the fastest dog in the race.
He won the Austrian Mastership Racing 2011 (Aller nicht Windhunde oder Mix) . He even was the fastest dog during the whole year 2011. Congratulations to Sindi with this remarkable good result.

K-Litter Tervueren born on 8-8-2011.

2 males and 4 females were born in Ferrah’s second litter. The father was the Lux. Champ Caruso de la Chenestre and it was a beautiful litter indeed. Al the pups found a good home again and we were more than satisfied with this litter.

We had beautiful offspring from Ferrah and Blackwaters Blue Ocean and now it was the time to plan Ferrah’s second litter. We decided to combine our beauty with the Champion of Luxembourg Caruso de la Chenestre. Caruso is a beautiful dog with an extremely good head. The mating was successful and we hope that Ferrah is pregnant. The pups will be born in the beginning of August 2011 Serious inquiries are welcome of course.

Unfortunately the mating from Gimba vom Frankentor und Umrah v’t Guitpad did not result in a Litter. In spite of all our efforts nature took another decision.

On 25-3-2011 our Groenendael female Umrah v’t Guitpad was mated to the VDH-Champion Gimba vom Frankentor. Both dog are excellent in type and character and therefore we expect very good offspring from this promising combination.

The Martinidogshow on 6 March 2011.

On 6 March we went to Groningen and in our tradition we were representated very good on this event. The dogs from our kennel achieved the following very good results.

J-Litter Tervuerens

The pups from the last litter from Danicha were born on 7-8-2010. In this litter 3 males and 5 females were born .It turned out to be a very nice litter and one of the male pups named Jamash went to Austria. Because we just lost our Ybrisca we decided to keep a dog for ourselves and we selected from this litter a beautiful fauve female dog named Jodie v’t Guitpad. She is a beautiful dog with solid bones and an exceptional character.

Sad news in 2010

The beginning of August was not an easy time for us because we lost two of our dogs within one week. On 4-August our grey Tervueren male Padron had left us. He could not keep in his food anymore because it turned out that he had developed a cancer. He became very ill in a short time and he could not be saved. More or less the same goes for our senior Tervueren female Ybrisca de la Vignette. She was an older dog and we already had noticed that she was not in a good shape the last time. Within a few days however she became very ill and she died a day later than Padron on 5 August. It were very sad moments just before the birth of Danicha’s last litter. We were very glad that Danicha brought us good news and delivered a beautiful litter with 8 sound pups on 7 August. In our memory we have a place for our dogs that are not longer with us and Padron and Ybrisca will never be forgotten. Ybrisca made it possible for us to start again with the Tervueren breeding for the second time. Her offspring turned out to be of great value for our breeding and she has been the start of our Tervueren breeding today. Just before the end of the year we heard the sad news that the Groenendael Widor v’t Guitpad was euthanized because he owners could not handle him anymore. At the age of nine month he turned out to be deaf and that is of course a serious handicap to live with. In our memory he will be remembered in spite of his sad story.

The pups from the J-litter Tervuerens were born on 7-8-2010. In this litter 3 males and 5 females were born and so far mother Danicha and her pups are doing fine. Serious inquiries for a pup are welcome of course.

Good score for X-ray photo from Umrah v’t Guitpad (June 2010)

Our Groenendael bitch Umrah v’t Guitpad scored very good for her hips on the X-ray photo. She received an A-grade with a Norberg value of 33 degrees.

Mating Danicha v’t Guitpad and Amigo Ingoz de la Tyvell on 3-6-2010 and 5-6-2010:

Because of the very good offspring we had from Amigo Ingoz and Eshah in the H-litter Tervuerens we decided to combine this very good male also with our Danicha. The mating was successful and Danicha is pregnant for sure. For Danicha this will be her last litter and the pups will be born in the beginning of August. Serious inquiries are welcome of course.

Excellent results on 5-3-2010 on the Eastern show in Leeuwarden for Igor v’t Guitpad.

The beautiful son of our Ferrah v’t Guitpad died very well and received 1-Excellent on the Eastern show in Leeuwarden this year.

Mating Shiva v’t Guitpad and Arès Des Perles Noires :
was successful : On 24-02-2010 6 Groenendael pups were born.

Two males and 4 female pups were born in this X-itter. From this litter we decided to select Xantha v’t Guitpad to continue our breeding in the future. Xantha is a beautiful female with an outstanding character. She is living with family in the neighbourhood.

Driving to Liège for Christmas on 25-12-09.

The weather was terrible and it was snowing on the first day of Christmas. We did a Progesteron test with Shiva v’t Guitpad the day before and according to this test there was no time for delay.

So what to do under these circumstances ? We contacted Marc and Ingrid Salet in Liège -Belgium and decided to go. In spite of the circumstances we had a rather good trip and also the mating went alright. The pups will be expected at the end of February. We expect a very good litter of course made on Christmasday.

Character test in Almere with Umrah v’t Guitpad and the young Tervueren female Helisah v’t Guitpad on 11-10-09

Umrah v’t Guitpad passed her official character test on 11-10-09 in Almere with very good results. Umrah received the qualification social+ with very good remarks. Helisah v’t Guitpad did an even better job and succeeded as one of the best dogs of the day with the qualification with LOF. Of course we are proud with these remarkable good results.

Rehoming dogs from our kennel in October 2009.

Sarina v’t Guitpad a 5 years old female Groenendael searched for a new home in October 2009. She was lucky and we found a good place to stay. We are glad that she could make a new start and has a new future now with her new owners Inge and Johannes in Oldenzijl.
Another dog that found a new home in October was the young Tervueren female Hennah v’t Guitpad. Her owners were moving to Italy to start a new future there and they had to leave her in Holland. Hennah found a very good place to stay with Jacob en Claudette in Smilde –Holland-Holland where she lives together wit her sister Helisah v’t Guitpad.

Puppy-Day, I-litter Tervueren and W-Litter Groenendael - 4 October 2009

On 04-10-09 we planned to organise a puppy day for our I-Litter Tervueren (Ferrah v’t Guitpad X Blackwater’s Blue Ocean) and the W-Litter Groenendael Qasima v’t Guitpad X Arès des Perles Noires). We were lucky with the weather and it did not rain to much. From the I-Litter Tervuerens 3 pups were present and also the W-Litter Groenendael was by far not complete because there only were 4 pups present. It was also a pity that both males Blackwaters Blue Ocean and Arès des Perles Noires were absent. The present dogs of both litters however had a very good type and also the characters were good. We had a beautiful afternoon and everybody enjoyed themselves. Because the W-Litter Groenendael was so young ( 5 month) and there were so many absents we consider to organize another puppyday for these pups in 2010.

Excellent results for our male dogs on the ijssel dogshow 3 October 2009 in Zwolle

Excellent results this year again for Cubiks offspring on the international shows in Europe -2009:
The descendents from our Cubik did very well this year . It is remarkable and hard to believe how much they achieve every year .His descendents are not only beautiful but they are also very good working dogs. Character and type are the strong points he inherits to his offspring. We are proud to own this dog en we are also proud of his offspring produced by Kennel the Feldstiege in Germany, kennel Coronado in Switzerland and kennel Dart in Poland. Cubiks descendents from these kennels all got excellent remarks and Cubiks Son Chuck von der Feldstiege even became Internationaler Schönheitschampion this year which is very remarkable for a Tervueren. He has an IPO-111 certificate which is also very exceptional for a Tervueren with so many show- qualities. We like to thank everybody who has a descendent from our Cubik and made the efforts to achieve these wonderful results. I will not mention every result but there are some dogs that I must congratulate with an exceptional result.

First there is Chuck von der Feldstiege by becoming Internationaler –Schönheits-Champion in Kassel this year. We said it before,he achieved everything and I think he deserves it. Cubiks daughter Yakuza (from kennel Dart in Poland) won Polish Club Youth Class and got a title Youth Champion of Poland. She also took part in French Specialty this year where she got also an excellent mark. She also trains obedience and agility. Her owner is extremely satisfied because she is a beautiful dog with many qualities. Cubiks son Blues von Coronado which was born in Switzerland became BOB in Lausanne - Switzerland and that is of course also a wonderful result. On the last show in Germany in 2009 held in Kassel, Cubiks daughter Ella von der Feldstiege became best female and she ended this year in the best possible way. All the descendents from Cubik received an Excellent in 2009. What more can I say.

On 09-03-2009 Qasima v’t Guitpad was mated to Sr Arès Des Perles Noires.

This very promising Groenendael-combination combines the best Groenendael and Tervueren breeding lines. In this litter 5 males and 4 females were born. There were no complications and mother and pups are doing fine so far.
